Vision & Impact

Praia do Norte, Nazaré — home of the biggest surfable waves on Earth. The Wave Oracle lets you feel the state of the ocean from anywhere. A live 3D sea rendered in WebGL, fed by real marine data — swell height, period, wind, water temperature — and it even tells you how far you are from the giants. Built because some friends just want to know, at any moment, whether the giants are sleeping or awake.

Technical Build

Real-time 3D ocean visualization with a WebGL/Three.js sea surface, live public marine-data feeds (swell, wind, water temperature), and IP-geolocation that computes your haversine distance to Nazaré on the fly. No database, no auth — a pure read-only, public-API-driven real-time data toy. Loads heavy 3D dynamically so it stays fast.
