Vision & Impact

A real-time monitoring system for a LoRA mesh communication network deployed around Nazaré, Portugal. Five nodes — base station, lighthouse relay, beach buoy, mountain cabin, and a mobile phone — all communicating at 868 MHz across the Atlantic coast. Battery levels, signal strength, temperature, messages. When the internet goes down, the mesh stays up.

Technical Build

IoT dashboard with real-time WebSocket data feeds, 5-node health monitoring with battery and signal tracking, message logging system, telemetry visualization (RSSI, SNR, temperature), and alert management for network anomalies. Hardware-integrated software for a real deployed network.
